We take all of the following specific details into consideration when pricing your alterations and sewing needs:
Material Type and original form of Garment Construction
Embellishments - beading, lace, trims, etc.
Amount of fullness in a skirt (full/partial hem)
Number of layers in a garment
Boning, horsehair, pleating and other finishes
Approximate amount of time needed for a specific alteration / sewing job
THE SEAMSTRESS WILL NEED TO SEE YOUR GARMENT IN PERSON TO GIVE YOU EXACT COST. YOU MAY SEND PHOTOS OF YOUR PROJECT BEFORE YOUR FIRST FITTING FOR A QUOTE.
Sewing pricing begins at:
fitting, pinning & measuring time- the first 30 minutes are complimentary. fittings that take beyond 30 minutes will be charged $40 per hour.

Please Note: Hem pricing is per layer of a garment. Pricing may fluctuate up or down based on whether the client needs a partial or full hem.
Partial Hem- Hemming only needed at front of garment while back of garment length is left as is. Full Hem- Garment needs hemming at front, sides and back.

The seamstress is available to travel to clients FOR FITTINGS as REQUESTED
Rush Fee- 25% of Total Price
We recommend Alteration Fittings be booked at least 2 months (approximately 60 days) before the client’s event date. Fittings booked less than 30 days before an event date will be considered a Rush. DEPENDING ON THE WORKLOAD THE 25% RUSH FEE MAY BE ADDED. THIS WILL BE COMMUNICATED WITH THE CLIENT BEFORE THE FIRST FITTING.
we recommend custom designs be booked at least 1 year before your event date. If given less than 1 year the seamstress may have to kindly decline project depending on the current workload.
